Ocean Walker Academy & Wellbeing Centre is a 17-acre aquatic fitness and wellbeing center with a 7-acre man-made lake with four islands and an indoor Endless Pool for swim technique training.


The Ocean Walker Academy & Wellbeing Centre was founded by Adam Walker, the first British person to complete the Oceans Seven, and coach Gemma Clarke.

Why it was nominated

For creating a beautiful, year-round, and dedicated space for open water swimmers of all levels, from newcomers to veterans, to pursue their individual goals from ice swimming to marathon swimming.
