The Tampa Bay Frogman Swim is a 5 km cold water swim across Tampa Bay from St. Petersburg to Tampa held in January. Registration opens in August every year and sells out within 15 minutes. The event hosts many Gold Star families who gather to honor fallen soldiers with a solemn opening ceremonies and remembrances at the start and finish of the swim.
