It’s A White Winter In The Mighty Memphremagog

Phil White announced the detailed schedule of the 2015 will see the inaugural United States Winter Swimming Championships be held in Lake Memphremagog on February 21st and 22nd, hosted by Darren Miller, Cristian Vergara, Melissa O’Reilly, Brad McVetta and Janet Manning.

We will be having a press conference and reception for our 40 participants and the public on Friday evening February 20th at 6:00 pm at the Northeast Kingdom Tastings Center in Newport, Vermont. Get a chance to meet, greet, welcome, and get to know some of these wonderful swimmers as we kick off an extraordinary weekend of winter swimming. The public is also welcome to come out and watch this unique moment of swimming in the waters of Mighty Memphremagog.”

The weekend schedule is as follows:

Saturday:
10:00 am – 25m breaststroke
1:00 pm – 25m freestyle
6:00 pm – Seafood Buffet at The EastSide Restaurant

Sunday
10:00 am – 50m freestyle
1:00 pm – 100m freestyle
