Dallas Aquatic Masters Have A Record Lock In Lake Travis
On October 9 in Austin, Texas, swimmers from all over will try to wrestle the 12-mile Lake Travis Relay record from Ace & His D.A.M. Friends (Dallas Aquatics Masters), set in 2008 in 3:50:24.99. But everyone will have to set up to beat the remarkable solo record, also set in 2008, by Chris Derks in 3:46:16.99.
Their records are noted in the new International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame website.
