Dan Martin’s Global Triathlon Delayed Until Further Notice
Dan Martin announced yesterday the delay of his unprecedented Global Triathlon due to insurmountable problems with his escort boat. After years of preparation and fund-raising, the necessary repairs and remaining problems unexpectedly delayed the start of his first leg, a swim across the Atlantic Ocean. With the hurricane season underway in the Atlantic Ocean, a successful and safe crossing was all but impossible.
