The first live telecast with Diana Nyad pairing up with professional dancer Henry Byalikov will be shown tonight in America on Dancing With the Stars.
“I’m a huge fan of both dancing and the show so here’s one of my dreams come true,” describes Nyad.
“My partner is [28-year-old Australian] Henry Byalikov, a sublime dancer, an articulate and intelligent teacher, and a lovely person with whom to spend many hours a day. Our first dance is the Fox Trot and ready to give it my all on Monday night.”
Byalikov is a veteran of Australia’s So You Think You Can Dance, Strictly Dancing and Dancing With the Stars, and was also featured in The Great Gatsby as a dancer.
Natalie Coughlin and Ky Hurst were some other swimmers who recently appeared on the American and Australian versions of Dancing With The Stars.
