Doing It Again In Cuba
The Copa Master de Natación (International Masters Swimming Cup) held in March in Varadero, Cuba and was described as a huge success.As a result, a follow-up pool and open water swimming event – the II Copa Master de Natación – will be held in June with a 3K ocean swim held on June 12th.
Federico Sicard, a visiting policeman from California, said, “I was very happy with the competition in Varadero. I encouraged the organizers to add a triathlon as well.”
II Copa Master de Natación will be held in El Residencial Club Habana. Sunlight Tours of Cuba (contact Jorge Estevez of jen04_bci@yahoo.ca) is the official travel agency of the II Copa Master de Natación and will continue to roll out the red carpet for the foreign visitors.
