Emily Brunemann finished off her 2011 season with two consecutive FINA 10KM Marathon Swimming World Cup victories. Below are the results for the 10K race in Hong Kong.
The race was held in Hong Kong’s Repulse Bay where the water temperature 27.5°C. As Emily summed up for the rest of the athletes, “I want to thank the Chinese Swimming Federation and FINA for putting on a very well-run and safe race.
Both races felt awesome. During the races, nobody really wanted to lead so the pace was pretty slow. When I decided to move, I went for it. I am so happy with the results and it definitely feels good after the season I have had.”

Hummer Award (2007, 2010) and Harvard University's John B. Imrie Award (1984). Served on the FINA Technical Open Water Swimming Committee and as Technical Delegate with the 2011 Special Olympics World Summer Games, and 9-time USA Swimming coaching staff.
