The Night Train Swimmers completed the first circumnavigation swim around the Farallon Islands today in a historic first.

We finally made it [great white] sharks and all,” said Vito Bialla. “The swim course is through the opening at Devil’s Teeth about a mile around the northerneastern tip of the Farallons Islands, a rock called Chocolate Chip. It was a historic first that we are kind of proud of this one. There were seals in our faces and huge swells through the opening at Devil’s Teeth.

It was an absolute high beyond description. It has been a dream of mine to swim through the opening and circumnavigate that part of the island
