Flying Internationally To An Open Water Swim

So many open water swimmers and triathletes travel internationally, within continents and from coast to coast. Many of them have a hard time getting comfortable and sleeping in an airplane.

But not limber Ashley Twichell. The open water swimmer is flexible, religiously wears compression leggings, and twists and turns her body in all sorts of configurations during flights over 10 hours. She wakes up now and then, hydrates and eats, and then quickly dozes off as she compresses her body back into her economy-class seat.

Then she wakes up fresh and relaxed upon descent…something we are entirely incapable of.
