Fogg Or Davies – It Is Going To Be One Fast 10K

Whether Great Britain is represented by Olympian Daniel Fogg or two-time Olympic medalist David Davies, the pace of the Olympic 10km Marathon Swim on August 10th will be blazing fast.

Fogg, the 14:55 1500m pool swimmer, or Davies, the 14:45 1500m swimmer, will certainly add fuel to the fire and push the pace in the Serpentine at the 2012 London Olympic Games.

And the rest of the pack will have to be prepared, ready to punish themselves for 10,000 fast meters. Either Fogg or Davies is going to be buoyed by an absolutely electrifying ambiance and tremendous crowd excitement around the Serpentine. Their adrenaline and sense of patriotism will certainly push them to performance heights that will make either of them solid medal favorites.

[The Olympics] are just around the corner and every day has to be focused and you can’t really waste a day from here on in. You have to make it count to give yourself the best opportunity to swim well at the Games,” said Fogg in an interview with Wales Online.

If their British teammate Keri-Anne Payne wins the gold medal in the women’s Olympic 10km Marathon Swim on August 9th, expectations will rise to sky-high proportions…for one of these men who will become the sole British representative in the Olympic 10K.
