Four’s A Charm With Katrina Porter

Katrina Porter, OAM is a pool and open water swimmer from Australia who has received the Medal of the Order of Australia.

A competitive swimmer since the age of 10 who specializes in backstroke and breaststroke, she competed in the 2004 Athens Paralympic Games, 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games, and 2012 London Paralympic Games as well as the 2006 IPC Swimming World Championships in Durban, South Africa.

She won a gold medal in Beijing and broke a world record in the 100m backstroke. Porter was a finalist for the Western Australian Young Australian of the Year and will take part in the 2014 Lake Argyle Swim in the 20 km Quad relay category.
