From Neoprene To Bioprene, From Alcatraz To Shore

36 open water swimmers are entered in Saturday’s 2-mile Alcatraz Classic for the Fastest from Alcatraz Island to San Francisco.

Under the organization of Water World Swim, competitors will begin at Alcatraz Island and finish at the beach at the St. Francis Yacht Club on Saturday morning in the fourth edition.

Many of them will race with wetsuits and some of them will go bioprene.
