Germany Wins 4×250 Mixed Freestyle Relay at IISA 5th World Championship

Team Germany won the final relay at the IISA 5th World Championship in Samoëns, France this week.

Team Germany won the 4x250m mixed freestyle relay with Kilian Graef, Alisa Fatum, Andreas Waschburger, and Christoph Karow. The German quartet finished in 11:40.55 ahead of the Polish team of Marcin Szarpak, Aleksandra Bednarek, Michal Tomaszowski, and Paweł Bednarczyk (11:51.64), the French team of Virgil Poirier, Audrenn Foiny, Lena Berthelot-Moritz, and Axel Reymond (11:57.44), and the USA team of Colin Bushweller, Ezmee Jones, John Zemaitis, and Keaton Jones (12:04.88).

A international quartet of para swimmers including Patricia HeffernanJonty WarnekenTina Deeken, and Nicola Doran also raced with the national teams in an embodiment of inclusion at the IISA 5th World Championships.
