The Indoor Generation is an impactful campaign that succeeded in creating global awareness of how indoor environment affects people’s health and well-being.
“The Indoor Generation includes all kinds of common scenes in people’s homes, but the film combines that will shocking and insightful information,” observes Steven Munatones. “The narrator explains that our homes are places that we build so we would never have to leave. Lights allows us to work on night. Televisions, laptops and smartphones allows us to be entertained and informed 24/7. Food – including prepared meals – can be delivered throughout the day. There are indoor treadmills and all kinds of exercise equipment.
But there are so many advantages to get outside and enjoy the fresh air, open water and blue (or snowy) skies. Open water swimmers know the feelings – physical, psychological and emotional – and advantages of swimming in the open water: sea swimming, winter swimming, wild swimming, bodysurfing, marathon swimming, stage swimming, sea treks.”
