The 2017 Gran Fondo Italia (or Circuit Gran Fondo Italia) is an open water swim series in Italy organized by Alessandro Pilati of Swimming in Open Water (NAL) with other Italian organizers that includes:

* June 25th: 17 km Gran Fondo Porto Conte in Sardinia, Alghero (Sassari)
* July 8th: 15 km Venice Gran Fondo in Veneto, Cavallino (Venice)
* September 10th: 24 km Gran Fondo Naviglio Grande in Lombardy, Milan
* Date to be decided: 15 km Gran Fondo Baia del Sole in Liguria, Laigueglia Alassio

The new race on the series, Gran Fondo Baia del Sole, is a 15 km swim in the Gulf of Alassio along the coast of the Riviera Ligure di Ponente Alassio.
