Dmitri Voloshin and his colleagues in New York City at
Sonr have developed a real-time communication device for swimmers. Voloshin explained, “
Swimmers can get their Sonr on Kickstarter – or sooner at a special launch price of US$149, a 25% discount.
This product that will change swimming forever. We created a small wearable radio receiver for swimmers which allows the coach to improve their technique during the training even when the swimmer’s ears are underwater. The coach talks to the swimmer via a radio and Sonr transmits the sound to the inner ear by bone conduction technology.
While training in a pool, you can hear the coach’s voice underwater and concentrate on your swimming.”
