Ram Barkai, founder of the International Ice Swimming Association, hosted another Africa Lesotho Ice Swimming Ice Kilometer event between July 28th and August 1st in Afriski, Lesotho in the southern part of Africa.

Barkai explained about the high-altitude ice swimming event, “The ICE called. It was challenging and inviting. What a bunch of mad frozen ones. It was HARD. Altitude and I are not big mates. Yet, we clear our mind. Nothing but the swim, stroke by stroke until the end.”
