Four years from now, we will know the 2020 Tokyo Olympic medalists in the 10 km marathon swim.
They will compete at the Odaiba Marine Park in Tokyo Bay.
On September 25th, Yasunari Hirai won another Japanese title, his fifth consecutive, at the 92nd annual Japanese Swimming Championships held in the same Olympic venue in Odaiba.
The latest Japanese national championship was another opportunity to prepare for the 2020 Olympics.
The venue can be easily reached by subway, trains and buses, about 20 minutes from Tokyo Station and the heart of one of the world’s most energetic and densely packed megalopolis.
