IISA Queens of the ICE – 1000m Female Final

The International Ice Swimming Association 4th World Championship held in Głogów, Poland showcased many of the world’s best and most hardened ice swimmers.

In the women’s Ice Kilometer, defending champion and Queen of the Ice Alisa Fatum of Germany won comfortably in 13:06:18, a bit off her IISA championship record of 13:02:39 set in 2019. But she comfortably finished nearly 30 seconds ahead of silver medalist Hanna Bakuniak of Poland 13:35:60 who was off her lifetime best time of 13:05:70.
