Inaugural World Beach Games In San Diego
Courtesy of WOWSA, Huntington Beach, California. This week, the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) moved closer to establishing the inaugural ANOC World Beach Games in San Diego, California, starting in 2019.
With the expected momentum of the movement, it may be possible that all 206 global National Olympic Committees will send its up to 2,500 athletes to compete at the 2019 World Beach Games.

Southern California native, born 1962, is the creator of the WOWSA Awards, Oceans Seven, Openwaterpedia, Citrus Corps, World Open Water Swimming Association, Daily News of Open Water Swimming, Global Open Water Swimming Conference. Served on the FINA Technical Open Water Swimming Committee and as Technical Delegate with the 2011 Special Olympics World Summer Games, and 9-time USA Swimming coaching staff.
