The International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame announced the IMSHOF Class of 2016:

The Class of 2016 Honour Swimmers include Chloë McCardel of Australia, Tomi Stefanovski of Macedonia, and Mányoki Attila of Hungary.

All three Honour Swimmers have already done much in their respective careers, but they are also still relatively young and have plenty of additional swims and races to plan and complete during the remainder of their careers.

The Class of 2016 Honour Contributor also includes administrator and escort boat pilot Charlie Gravett from Jersey.

The International Swimming Hall of Fame also announced winners of two awards:

*Irving Davids – Captain Roger Wheeler Memorial Award: David Yudovin of the U.S.A., posthumously awarded for his contributions to open water swimming (Yudovin passed away unexpectedly in March 2015).

*The ISHOF Poseidon Award: Chloë McCardel for her superb year of channel swimming, coaching and fund-raising.
