INTO THE BLUE: The Wonders of The Coral Triangle
The International Ocean Film Festival is sharing the video 50-minute film INTO THE BLUE: The Wonders of The Coral Triangle, recipient of the 2022 Wildlife Award, by filmmaker Robert Fonollosa between today, June 8th and next Wednesday June 15th.
Interested swimmers will receive access to the Livestream Q&A with cinematographer, Álex del Olmo on Monday, June 13th at 10:00 am PST.

The film features the Coral Triangle, one of the most beautiful places on Earth, that is located between the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean in the ocean surrounding the islands of Raja Ampat, Sulawesi and Komodo.

Southern California native, born 1962, is the creator of the WOWSA Awards, Oceans Seven, Openwaterpedia, Daily News of Open Water Swimming and founder of WOWSA. Inductee in the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame (Honor Swimmer, Class of 2001) and Ice Swimming Hall of Fame (Honor Contributor - Media, Class of 2019), recipient of the International Swimming Hall of Fame's Poseidon Award (2016), International Swimming Hall of Fame's Irving Davids-Captain Roger Wheeler Memorial Award (2010).
