Is Risso Coming To The Farallones Or Channel Islands?
Courtesy of Kate Cummings, Blue Ocean Whale Watch, California. Recently, a white Risso’s dolphin was seen swimming in the ocean in California’s Monterey Bay by the Blue Ocean Whale Watch about 3 miles offshore.
“Scientists identified it as the same animal that was last seen on September 29th 2015,” said Kate Cummings, a naturalist and co-owner of Blue Ocean Whale Watch.
It would certainly be a sight to see for a channel swimmer.
