Muscat Bay is a resort in Oman, located at Bandar Jissah near Qantab, and is supported by the Omani government as part of an effort to expand the tourism industry in the country. In December 2020, Jamie Mackay swam the first 23.5 km crossing from one side of Muscat Bay to the other, finishing at Qurum Beach. “It was a super difficult swim with the turn in weather. Thanks to all my friends and crew that helped. 2020 has been a hard year on everyone and I hope my swim offered a little break from the current situation.”
