The
Jax Sheko Challenge, Hong Kong had its 10-year anniversary in 2014 with its biggest event yet: over 250 swimmers, paddlers and runners. Swimming the 2.2 km course from Big Wave Bay to the Back Beach is the main event, with the other sports making up the
Trisolothon portion of the relay teams.
The Jax Sheko Challenge was the first event of the 13-race
World Open Water Swimming Series (
www.wowss.org). Hong Kong is the only city to have 2 events in the series, with “
The Five” (5 km) being the other event on November 9th 2014.
