
Jeffrey Cleveland Joins Triple Crown Club

After completing a 10:22 crossing of the English Channel in 2008 and a 9:33 crossing of the Catalina Channel in 2009, Jeffrey knocked off the last of the Triple Crown swims with an 8:14 swim around Manhattan Island.
Jeffrey once described marathon swimming as a fair barometer of life in general, “You see that you can overcome monumental tasks. The working and swimming worlds can be similar. You never know what you are going to face, and you have to be prepared for any possibility.”
Jeffrey’s inclusion in the Triple Crown club makes it 35 athletes total in marathon swimming history to complete the English Channel, Catalina Channel and the Manhattan Island Marathon Swim:
