John Scott’s New Book Release: My Magical Moments Journal

John Scott has a lot to share with the swimming community after a lifetime of training, competing and exploring his potential in the pool and open water. He is releasing his new book, My Magical Moments Journal, tomorrow on Amazon.

He explains, “I created the Journal to help people feel good because it’s easy to lose track of all the good with everything happening in the world and our hectic lives. Years ago, I lost my way by denying growing stress and anxiety by not looking after myself. The good felt so far away it was hard to see. Then, one day, I decided there had to be a different way, a better way to do my life than that.

On that day, I started a Journal I called Magical Moments to focus on the great things in my life. The activity of focusing on my magical moments changed my life. So if you want to experience more great and less grind, this Journal will help. This Journal replicates my journey from madness to magical. My health issues disappeared, and I felt better and better, self-correcting an unhealthy trajectory back to the birthright we all have to feel good and thrive. Magic!

Tomorrow, on Wednesday at 7 pm EST, Scott is hosting a 30-minute launch party. Click here if you would like to attend the Our Human Capital party. For more information, visit here.

Scott was a competitive swimmer from Toronto, Canada who served as Chairman of the 1997 Special Olympics World Winter Games, and as a Swim Master, pace swimmer or crew member for many on Lake Ontario, Lake Simcoe, Lake Erie, Manitoulin Island in Lake Huron, and the Catalina Channel.

In 1994, Scott was a force in creating the plaque at Niagara-on-the-Lake to recognize the swimmers who have crossed Lake Ontario.

Scott profoundly believes that everyone possesses a unique combination of resources and can optimize their own human capital that he spoke about on the WOWSA Live episode below:

My Magical Moments Journal

by John Scott

It’s easy to lose track of all the good with everything happening in the world and our hectic lives. Now, it’s time to feel good.

Years ago, I lost my way by denying growing stress and anxiety by not looking after myself. The good felt so far away it was hard to see. I wanted to be rid of the stress and feel good more often. One day, I decided there had to be a different way, a better way to do my life than that.

On that day, I started a Journal I called Magical Moments to focus on the great things, which changed my life. So if you want to experience more great and less grind, this Journal will help.

I have a background in high-performance sport, hold a world record long-distance swimming record, and climbed a few mountains but for a period forgot the lessons all that taught me.

This Journal replicates my journey from madness to magical. My health issues disappeared, and I felt better and better, self-correcting an unhealthy trajectory back to the birthright we all have to feel good and thrive. Magic!
