Jonathan Wall Achieved Australian Triple Crown of Marathon Swimming
Jonathan Wall achieved the Australian Triple Crown of Marathon Swimming at the age of 51 after completing his third and last leg, the Derwent River Big Swim, in January.
- He completed the 25 km Port to Pub Ultra Marathon on March 20th 2021 when he swam the Port to Pub Leighton Beach buoy loop, cross to Hotel Rottnest in 10 hours 21 minutes.
- He completed the 24 km Palm Beach to Shelley Beach Marathon Swim on April 17th 2021 in 7 hours 52 minutes 28 seconds.
- He completed the 34 km Derwent River Big Swim on January 12th 2022 in 10 hours 38 minutes 5 seconds.

Southern California native, born 1962, is the creator of the WOWSA Awards, Oceans Seven, Openwaterpedia, Citrus Corps, World Open Water Swimming Association, Daily News of Open Water Swimming, Global Open Water Swimming Conference. Inductee in the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame (Honor Swimmer, Class of 2001) and Ice Swimming Hall of Fame (Honor Contributor - Media, Class of 2019), recipient of the International Swimming Hall of Fame's Poseidon Award (2016), International Swimming Hall of Fame's Irving Davids-Captain Roger Wheeler Memorial Award (2010), USA Swimming's Glen S. Hummer Award (2007, 2010) and Harvard University's John B. Imrie Award (1984). Served on the FINA Technical Open Water Swimming Committee and as Technical Delegate with the 2011 Special Olympics World Summer Games, and 9-time USA Swimming coaching staff.
