Kristóf Rasovszky won the shortest and longest races on the 2018 LEN European Championship open water schedule: the 5 km and 25 km.

And the emerging Hungarian star also put in the closest possible effort to upset Olympic champion Ferry Weertman in the 10 km. Although he finished second in a photo finish, both swimmers were given the same time down to the hundredth of a second.

But in today’s 25 km race that also came down to the last stroke, Rasovszky out-touched Kirill Belyaev of Russia.
