International Ice Swimming Association World Cup circuit had stops in the Netherlands (Amstel Ice Swim), Germany (Ice Swimming Aqua Sphere German Open & IISA® World Cup Veitsbronn 2020), and the UK (IISA Great Britain Championships).

Before the global pandemic shuts things down, the young (22-year-old) Kyra Wijnker of the Netherlands was crowned the 2020 IISA World Cup Series Champion in the Ice Kilometer category.
