NAL is the acronym of “Nuoto Acque Libere” (Open Water Swimming), we are a recognized sports association CONI, affiliated with CSI and UISP, oriented to the sporting activities of swimming in open water (seas, lakes and rivers), with the interest of developing and disseminating the sports culture of swimming.

Founded in 2010 following the homonymous fanzine NuotoAcqueLibere.com, followed by 180 thousand unique readers and ended on December 31, 2013, NAL carries out appointments for the approach and improvement of swimming in open water, follows the competitive and beginner athlete in achieving of its objectives, participates in Italian and foreign events, organizes training events and meetings for those who practice endurance sports. The crossing of the Strait of Bonifacio or swimming in Liguria, such as in the Cinque Terre, are some examples of the activities that the NAL organizes.
