Open Water

Seven Lakes is an open water swimming event designed to meet the increased demand for long distance swimming.

The ultramarathon event comprises seven races over a distance of 213 km.

It is the longest open water swimming offer in Romania.

Crossing the 7 longest lakes in the country

The 7 longest lakes in the country have a length of approximately 213 km, a challenge for swimmers:
Lake Izvorul Muntelui (Neamț) – 25 km,
Lake Colibița (Bistrita Năsăud) – 4.5 km,
Lake Beliș-Fântânele (Cluj) – 16 km ,
Lake Drăgan (Cluj) – 8.2 km,
Lake Stânca Costești (Botoșani) – 45 km,
Lake Vidraru (Argeș) – 10.3 km,
Portile de Fier I (Mehedinți) – 104 km.

Solo crossing (the crossing date is chosen by the swimmer)
Relay crossing (maximum 5 swimmers, with the crossing date chosen by them)
Seven Lakes crossing (date set by the organizer)
