Lucky 7 At Navarino Challenge

The Navarino Challenge will showcase Spyros Gianniotis, the 2016 Olympic 10K Marathon Swim silver medalist, in its 7th annual event on October 12th in Costa Navarino, Greece.
Gianniotis will start the 1.6 km race at the picturesque harbor of Pylos, at the site of the critical naval battle that led to Greece’s independence, with the other participants.
Rowing, running, beach volleyball, beach yoga events will also be held.
Navarino Challenge participants who have booked their package at The Westin Resort Costa Navarino will be able to also enjoy the full program that includes more than 30 sporting activities including boccia, Pilates lessons, high intensity training, indoor cycling, baby swimming lessons for kids up to 3 years old, aqua aerobic lessons, climbing lessons, bike rides, and golf clinics as well as free participation in the Authentic Marathon of Athens for the first 50 people (register here).

Hummer Award (2007, 2010) and Harvard University’s John B. Imrie Award (1984). Served on the FINA Technical Open Water Swimming Committee and as Technical Delegate with the 2011 Special Olympics World Summer Games, and 9-time USA Swimming coaching staff.
