Make A Splash Tour Comes To Long Beach

Dear Long Beach Make a Splash Tour participant, Between the excitement of listening to Olympians and Olympic gold medalists like Anthony Ervin, Rowdy Gaines, Janet Evans, Jessica Hardy, Jason Lezak, and Chloe Sutton talk at the USA Swimming Foundation’s Make a Splash Tour, interested swimmers can also learn about open water swimming and marine life.
The nationwide Tour makes a stop in Long Beach, California on May 31st at the new Belmont Plaza outdoor pool on the beach.
The Belmont Plaza pool is a most appropriate location – with Catalina Island in the background and cool breezes coming off the Pacific Ocean where Greta Andersen once trained.
Attendance at the Tour is free and will include presentations of many adventures throughout open water history where marine life was involved. These talks will be led by Steven Munatones.
