Mark Quinn Completes Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming

Mark Quinn who finished the 45.9 km 20 Bridges Swim in 8 hours 33 minutes, completing the last leg of the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming.

Previously in 2017, he completed a 33.5 km crossing of the English Channel from England to France in 14 hours 6 minutes at the age of 58, escorted by pilot Fred Mardle, observed by Jim Taylor. In 2019, he completed a 32.3 km crossing of the Catalina Channel in 12 hours 45 minutes 40 seconds. Dan Simonelli was his crew chief. Ryan Rockenbach and Don Van Cleve were his CCSF observers on this second Triple Crown leg.
