Meenakshi Pahuja Representing India Around The World

Even without a place to practice open water swimming in her native city of Delhi, Indian swimmer Meenakshi Pahuja has traveled around the world as a swimming ambassador from India.

The busy Assistant Professor in Physical Education & Programme Officer Alumna Relations at the Lady Shri Ram College in University of Delhi has participated in competitions supported by her father and sister as well as generous individuals like Delhi University Vice-Chancellor Deepak Pental. She has competed from South Korea to Switzerland (International Self-Transcendence Marathon Swim, from the English Channel to Texas (Tex Robertson Highland Lakes Challenge), from Florida (Swim Around Key West) to New York (Ederle Swim), from her native India (both the 19 km and 81 km Indian National Open Water Swimming Championships) to Malaysia (Labuan International Sea Challenge).
