Minimizing The Marine Footprint At The Clean Half
Courtesy of WOWSA, Huntington Beach, California. Doug Woodring is always looking to reduce his footprint on the marine environment at his events. He had his 9th Clean Half Extreme Marathon Swim caps embroidered and made from 100% recycled plastic bottles.
The yak swimmers will also be minimizing their footprint on the marine environment by having kayakers and outrigger canoes as their escorts rather than motorized boats.
