The race directors for the Sea King Challenge in Rio de Janeiro have announced an even larger cash prize for the ten pro swimmers competing in the unique 10K course on Copacabana Beach.
The ten pros will be fighting over US$10,000 (R$18,500).

The all-star team from Brazil will defend their home turf and surf against Alexander Studzinski of Germany (representing Europe), Daniel Katzir of Israel (representing Asia), Trent Grimsey of Australia (representing Oceania), Ivan Lopez of Mexico (representing the Americas) and Chad Ho of South Africa (representing Africa).
