New Venue For The Swim Miami Event
The 7th annual Swim Miami presented by Nike Swim will prove to be more competitive and spectator friendly than ever in its new home.The Miami Yacht Club on Watson Island, with the downtown Miami skyline in full view on one side and the beautiful Miami Beach on the other, will be the venue for the 5-event Swim Miami on April 9th.
The pristine waters of Biscayne Bay will not only offer a safe and competitive environment for swimming, but will also be showcased by a live webcast courtesy of La Ley Sports. The swimmers will be able to be seen throughout the races via a large screen in the Nike Pavilion and will be treated at the innovative Trislide/Foggle Pitstop where participants can try new products to prevent chafing and fogging.
The Swim Miami event will include a 800-meter swim, mile swim, 4K and 10K races as well as the K-9 Krawl World Championships for the canine crowd.
