News From The Great Swim’s Lakes, Lochs And Docks
The Great Swim Series has launched its new website with all the information on its Great Swim Training Day on June 8th, the Great North Swim on June 14-16th, the Great East Swim on June 22nd, the Great Manchester Swim on July 20th, the Great Scottish Swim on August 24th, and the Great London Swim on August 31st.Great Swim Training Day will be held at the Brockhole Visitor Centre in Windermere where newbies, intermediates, and advanced swimmers are instructed separately.
The Great North Swim will host over 10,000 people at the United Kingdom’s largest open water swimming event. The Great East Swim will be held in the unspoilt countryside in Suffolk while the Great Manchester Swim is a dock-to-dock course in Salford Quays in the city centre. The Great London Swim will be held at the Royal Victoria Dock and the Great Scottish Swim is now located at the breath-taking Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park where swimmers can choose between the ½-mile, 1-mile or 2-mile races.
