The Night Train Swimmers Are Off The Radar At The Farallones

Last night, the Night Train Swimmers hit some tremendously rough waters on their way out to the Farallon Islands, 30 miles west of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.

They spent the night swaying and anchored off the “most desolate islands in the Pacific Ocean” – home of an untold number of Great White Sharks.

Phil Cutti, a physiologist with Stanford University, is scheduled to do the first one-hour leg and is scheduled to kick-start their 30-mile charity relay swim back to the California mainland. Once they begin their journey – never easy from the Farallones, their SPOT Tracker will be turned on and their relay can be followed online.

A video of the desolate, but beautifully stark, islands is here.
