Nor'easter Taking Storm

Nor’easter Taking Storm

There is a storm brewing in the northeastern part of the United States and it is churning up a whole lotta open water swims.

Today, with the efforts of Frans Lawaetz, Ulla Hester, Tom Gastel, and Karen Greene of the Charles River Swimming Club – and many others like them, the Charles River Swim kicks off the northeastern seaboard open water season.

Volunteers like this hard-working quartet all over New England are helping out in myriad ways as the open water swimming world is chugging right along in the Northeastern part of the United States.
