Courtesy of Masayuki Moriya, Tokyo, Japan.
Before both the
Tsugaru Channel and
Sado Channel swimming seasons were cancelled this summer,
Masayuki Moriya of
Ocean Navi was busy training a lot of masters swimmers for solo and relay channel swims in northern Japan.
Moriya also offers his
Ocean Navi swimmers mid-winter and mid-swummer Swim Tours around and near Tokyo Bay where they swim around
Miura Peninsula ~
Jogashima ~
Izu Oshima in deceptively clear waters.
Along the way, he also created some distance pool training program. One was a 30 km pool swimming event for relays held on December 30th 2019 in Tokyo. It was the second annual Tsugaru Channel Simulation Swim [see below].
