The Old vs. New Generation Out In The Open Water

Like nearly every human endeavor and sport, there seem to be frequent generational differences in opinions regarding equipment, technology, competition, promotional and rules. In the open water swimming world, from California to Copacabana, stand-up paddlers are becoming more and more prevalent as escorts and safety personnel on open water courses.

Their enthusiasm and support of open water swimming are always greatly appreciated and very helpful to those who need a bit more navigational assistance and safety coverage.
