Ollie And Vickie Endure Marital Harmony
Ollie and Vickie Wilkinson have started their charity Arch to Arc relay from Marble Arch in London to Paris.
“Vickie has started running the 87 miles (140 km) from Marble Arch in London to Dover where she will tag me and I will launch myself into the cold, lumpy English Channel,” wrote Ollie. “I will swim 21 miles (33.5 km) to France where I will meet up with Vickie and we will relay cycle the 180 miles (290 km) into the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.
We will be the first 2-person team to have achieved this ultra triathlon and we hope to crank it all out in about 40 hours of non-stop running, swimming, cycling and marital harmony.”

“We are doing this mostly because we are a bit mad, but also to raise money for three charities close to our hearts – Pancreatic Cancer, the local Sandford Park’s Lido community swimming pool, and the Shark Trust.”
