Olympic Aquatics Stadium Is 89% Completed

While the open water swimmers are focusing their 2016 Olympic preparations for racing fast at Copacabana Beach, the pool swimmers are looking forward to showcasing their talents at the Olympic Aquatics Stadium, a US$38 million swimming pool in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro that is reportedly 89% completed.

Olympic marathon swimmers like Sharon van Rouwendaal of the Netherlands and Jordan Wilimovsky of the USA may also find themselves racing in the Aquatics Stadium in pool events, pulling double duty in the ocean and pool.
