One More Makes It A Triple Crown For Angel

One More Makes It A Triple Crown For Angel

Angel More completed a crossing of the English Channel to achieve the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming on September 15th.

18-years-old Angel More has been swimming from Alcatraz island several dozens of times since she was 11. Her years of experience in the cold, windy San Francisco Bay water prepared her well for a tough, rough 14 hour 23 minute crossing of the English Channel from England to France. With her 33.5 km crossing under the guidance of Stuart Gleeson, she achieved the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming.

Her Triple Crown included her 33.5 km crossing of the English Channel, her 45.9 km 20 Bridges Swim around Manhattan Island in 2019 in 9 hours 1 minute, and her 32.3 km crossing of the Catalina Channel in 14 hours 22 minutes where she raised money and awareness for Children international, an organization focused on keeping children in school while escaping the cycle of poverty.

More had previously achieved the California Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming.
