Dan Simonelli and Jax Cole have escorted, coached, crewed and mentored over 300 marathon and channel solo swims and relays around the world. In an admirable effort to give back to the sport which has given them so much joy and challenges, they are launching their Open Water Swim Support Training (OWSST) program on February 20th.

Simonelli says, “Over our many years of supporting long distance swims, we have learned a ton of stuff, and now we are launching OWSST to share it all with you.  Our first course is called Support Fundamentals for Paddlers Course that covers everything that people need to know to start supporting long distance swims or enhance your skills to be the best you can be as kayaker, paddler, and/or support crew person.”

Their launch will be at both 12:00 pm and 7:00 pm PST on February 20th. “Join us this Saturday to learn more about our Support Fundamentals for Paddlers Course. It is a fun, interactive and free introduction is led by us. It will be held on Zoom at both 12 pm and 7 pm. At the end of the introduction, you will have an opportunity to ask questions and register for the Support Fundamentals for Paddlers Course that will take place on March 20th.”
