Open Water Swimming In North Texas

Marshall King recently launched NTX Open H2O to promote open water swimming in the American states of Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. “The website is non-profit. I am seeking only to publicize the sport I love and to create more opportunities for training and racing.”

The former ultra-walker and ultra-runner was injured and discovered open water swimming while undergoing physical therapy.

I ran less and began swimming as low-impact cross training. I discovered that I really enjoyed swimming, and a new interest was born.”

And that is a very good thing for the emerging open water swimming community in the North Texas area.
